Welcome to Thorp Middle School! Our vision of creating a Middle School is rooted in our concern for human development and related principles of learning, being responsive to the needs and characteristics of a unique and diverse student population. Middle School is not a Junior High School, but rather it is a transition, a program bridging and differing from both the Elementary School and the High School phases of formal education. We focus on the needs of the early adolescent.
