Hello! I am very happy to join Thorp as Principal/Athletic Director for the 2018-19 school year. Although I have most recently come from Houston, Texas, I was born and raised in Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin. I am excited to be closer to friends and family and look forward to getting to know all the parents and community members in Thorp.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Social Studies Composite Education and my graduate degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University in Texas. I have a broad range of teaching experience from 6th-12th grade in both urban and suburban settings. I have 7 years of district experience auditing, aligning, and creating curriculum that challenges students while engaging them in the classroom. I was a curriculum and instructional coach for 3 years where I supported secondary teachers' professional growth and needs through targeted professional development and PLC supervision. Most recently I have been the Director of Talent for a district of over 400 employees where I had the opportunity to be further involved in professional development and supervision.
I have always seen education as a means to engage, uplift, and inspire children, which I consider my most important endeavor. I love seeing students work hard together to reach goals and overcome learning obstacles. I am very dedicated to helping the teachers of Thorp High School to build upon the foundation of success that already exists and to move forward with practices and techniques that will help our students be even more prepared to be meaningful contributors to their communities.
I have a beautiful and talented wife with whom I am raising 2 young daughters. We love to spend our time outside camping, hiking, fishing and swimming. We love to travel and explore new places, try new foods, and meet new people I enjoy most sports, including wrestling, football, and basketball, but especially baseball.
I look forward to meeting all of you parents and community members and learning how I can best serve your needs!

I enjoy outdoor activities such as boating, snowmobiling, campfires, walking, and tending to our animals.
Hello! I'm Molly Schraufnagel and I have the privileged of working in the High School Office and helping in the lunch room. I went to UW-River Falls for Ag Education. I did teach Agriculture for three years and decided I needed more time with my family. God has blessed me with an amazing husband and three wonderful children, whom make every day an adventure.
I really enjoy cooking/baking, family time, movie theater popcorn, and studying God's word and spending quiet time with Him.
