Hi. I am Monica Meadows, Special Design Physical Education Instructor for the Thorp district. I obtained my Undergraduate Degree from UW-River Falls in Physical Education, Health and Adapted PE (B.S. 1985) and my Graduate Degree from UW-Stout in School Guidance and Counseling (M.S. 2001). I recently completed my 30 year teaching career at Chippewa Falls Senior High School in the Physical Education Department. Throughout my tenure I was also Head Volleyball Coach, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach, Assistant Softball Coach and Assistant Women’s Golf Coach.
I am an avid supporter of the Special Needs Students of the area as a 35 year member of the Wisconsin Special Olympics Indianhead Area Management Team. I am collaborating with the School Districts of Stanley-Boyd and Cadott to organize a CO-OP Agency for the Thorp Special Olympic Athletes.
Outside of the school environment, I enjoy golfing, biking, fishing, kayaking, working out and watching any athletic event.
I am very excited to be a Thorp School District staff member. Go Cardinals!
